Clima: Spain has a predominantly warm Mediterranean Clima, with dry summers and winters with balanced temperatures. This is one of the warmest parts of Europa.
Nevertheless, variety is the main characteristic of the Clima here, due to Spain’s immense geographical diversity.
So that if you travel to the north, to the Cantabrian coast, you will find a mild Clima with high rainfall. Winters are mild and in summer temperatures rarely exceed 25ºC.
However, in the higher parts of the country, the Clima is harsher and it is common to see snow from the beginning of winter to the end of spring. This is the case of the Pyrenees, the mountains of Sierra Nevada, the Central and Iberian ranges, and the Cantabrian Mountains, amongst others.
The best months are from April to October, although July and August can be excessively hot throughout the country except the coastal regions. Madrid is best in late spring or autumn. The central plateau can be bitterly cold in winter.
Canary Islands: their special location, facing the coast of Africa, gives them a benign Clima with mild temperatures (22ºC year-round average on the coasts), with only small temperature differences between day and night, whatever the season.

For Latin American people, especially those from Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, and in some cases Venezuela, Chile and Argentina you need to have a hotel reservation confirmed, and international insurance for at least 30.000 EURO; if your gita is from 1-9 days you need 514 EURO, for each additional day 57 EURO and a return air ticket.
Venezuelan credit cards are not accepted like funds for immigration due to the Valuta exchange control in this country.
